About the Item
This is a MG6 Arm Chair, designed by Mart Stam in the 1920s and revived by Matteo Grassi in the 1970s. This example was produced in Italy. It is a classic Bauhaus cantilever chair, formed with a frame of tubular chromed-steel. The thick leather seat is in a shade of gray. Compared to the more well-known model MG5, the model MG6 offers a closed backrest.
This chair measures 22.05 inches deep, 24 inches wide, and 31.5 inches high. It has a seat height of 17.33 inches. The chair shows some scratches on the leather, and it has some light black marks on the seat and back rest. The back of the chair is engraved with the maker's name. Overall, this chair is in very good condition. Please see photos.
