About the Item
This is a pair of Chromed Tubular Steel Cantilever Armchairs, Model MG5, initially designed by Mart Stam in 1926. These examples date to the 1980s, and are believed to have been produced by Matteo Grassi in Italy. The chairs have a light grey leather seat and back, and this model has leather armrests. The listed price includes the pair of chairs as shown.
Each chair measures 22 inches deep, 23.5 inches wide, and 31 inches high. They have a seat height of 18 inches. One piece appears to have more sun fading and wear than the other, and one has a tear on the underside down the middle. Overall, this pair is in good condition. Please see photos.
