Hello, This elegant pair of Viennese Biedermeier upholstered armchairs from c. 1825 are distinguished by their sophisticated proportions, rare and refined design and excellent craftsmanship and continue to have a great influence on modern design. The upholstery beautifully emphasizes the warm amber shade of the walnut wood. The chairs are raised on delicately profiled feet. The pair has a lovely walnut veneer accentuated by a light amber tone and 200 years old patina. Pieces of such quality as this pair of Biedermeier armchairs are very rare and hard to find.
