About the Item

This fantastic 19th century French carved walnut throne armchair has the original embossed and painted leather from the 1870s and contains nail head trim. The wood carving along the armrests and legs are phenomenal and in amazing condition. The painted leather upholstery has a charming worn appearance to it, consistent with age.
