About the Item

Famous sculptor, Carlo Mo was born in Piovene Rocchette in 1923. He then studies in Genova, and then in Pavia at the Univeristy. After the Second World War he travelled to Africa. In 1953 he comes back to Italy and exposes his works in Milan, Rome and Messina. In Milan he participates at the XV Triennale in 1968, in front of which is still visible his sculpture "Equilibrio". Then his works enter many international museums and private collections, such as the Hirshon Museum in Washington and the Betty Parsons collection.
