Influenced by Giorgio De Chirico, René Magritte sought to strip objects of their usual functions and meanings to convey an irrationally compelling image. By distorting the scale, weight, and use of an ordinary object and inserting it into a variety of contexts inspired Malabar designers to conceived the La Voix armchair. Upholstered in high-end cotton velvet with pattern textile on its curvy armrests and supported by a walnut wood foot, the artistic legacy of Malabar lives through this artsy armchair design. Idealized to be at the center of a living room, the La Voix armchair will turn fantasy furnishing fancies into a reality.
