Antique Victorian balloon back arm chair. Made of walnut featuring high back with paneled foliate crest, low arms and serpentine legs with castors. Upholstery by Shillito's Department Store in Cincinnati. Shillito's was the first department store in Cincinnati in 1830. Shillito's merged with Rikes, before becoming Lazarus, which eventually merged into Macy's.
