A very good looking and well made, fully restored English oak and leather library reading armchair. The piece has been fully restored as mentioned, it has all new upholstery, the cushions have been custom made to fit, they have Thomas Chippendale style floating buttons which really sets them off from the normal fabric upholstery. The leather hide comes from Italy and is fully aniline leather, after its upholstered the nest stage of the process is to be hand dyed six times, antiqued, sealed, waxed down and polished, the internals are all feather filled with a fiber core for stability
The chair reclines as you can see in the pictures by move the rear bar, it has a pull out, height adjustable footstool, the reading slope is fully articulated, this chair really is quite sublime and in amazing condition
