About the Item
Antique French Armchairs hand carved from solid Figured Walnut in the late 1800s. Some dealers might refer to these as a "near-pair", while others might call the Pair of Antique Armchairs a His and Hers. Whatever you decide to call the pair of armchairs, the one common denominator is the leather and the hard-carved walnut frames. Although the leather certainly has its cosmetic issues, the leather does remain supple to the touch. The walnut carved frames retain their original patina and have not been refinished. We will be listing on 1stdibs a pair of matching leather side chairs in the next week.
**Measurements provided are for the chair on the left. The chair on the right is 44" high, 17"m seat height, 26" wide and 29.5" deep.
**Please note 2 repaired rips in leather. Images 2 and 3 shows one. Image 18 shows the other.
