About the Item

A charmingly worn 19th Century fruitwood Armchair with hand-pulled cane seat. The chair has a back splat in Openwork Urn form, gently sloping arms, tapered and collared leg and foot and delicately carved floral accents. Dimensions: 21.75” wide by 18.75” deep by 34.5” high. Seat height 16.25”. Condition: Please see detail photos. As stated, the chair is charmingly worn and has age related wear including finish losses, stable age splits and various nicks and rubs including losses and wear to the chair back rail and stable age cracks to the back splat crest which do not detract from the fine Provincial French presentation.
