Antique French Pair of Louis XVI Style Carved Giltwood Fauteuils
Two beautiful 19th century carved, gilded and upholstered open armchair fauteuils in French baroque style. They feature elaborate hand carved frames decorated with bead string design, acanthus leaves and ribbon bow on the top crest. The chairs are upholstered with matching and centered flower design needlepoint. Exceptional quality and craftsmanship make these armchairs outstanding among similar ones. The condition is good, frames are sturdy, needlepoint shows some wear.
