We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning original Victorian Walnut framed Howard Son’s Bridgewater model style armchair with Chesterfield tufting all over Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, it covers within the M25 only for the UK and local Europe only for international, if you would like an accurate quote, please send me your postcode and I’ll provide you with the exact price. I have various other original Howard and Son's armchairs and sofas listed under my other items including an exact matching pair of these armchairs which are £30,000 This chair is exactly the same as the pair I have listed under my other items however this one isn't stamped, as such its being sold as in the style only and th price has been amended accordingly The chair has the original black leather upholstery which has been beautifully tufted all over, it has aged wonderfully and has a lovely authentic patina throughout The way the chair has been upholstered as in the floating buttons down the inside of the arms, the rolled front edge with tufting that follows all the way to the bottom, has been taken from the earliest Bridgewater armchair I have ever seen, it has been done perfectly and in keeping with the period taste Armchair dimensions Height:- 87.5cm Width:- 78cm Depth:- 96cm Seat height:- 41cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
