An extraordinary and extremely rare armchair from the "Marango" series, designed by Alberto Smania and produced by the namesake company in 1967. An incredible piece, a true testament to the highest level of Italian craftsmanship of the era and a timeless expression of luxury. It is made of woven cane intersected with vertical brass rods and finished at the joints with leather laces. The original cushions and linen covers feature a floral wisteria motif and are in perfect condition. The overall condition is excellent, with only minimal signs of age on some leather areas, as shown in the photographs.
