About the Item

Antique chinoiserie armchair is a charming example of the Asian influence on European furnishings, with a tailored architecture, ebonized finish and hand painted gold scenery on almost every facet. Rich damascene silk upholstery completes the look, and the seat is upholstered in such a manner that the cushion easily pops out so you can reupholster in your coordinating fabric, circa early 1900s Measures 31 H x 21.5 W x 19.5 D, seat 17 H.
