About the Item

This armchair made in solid Brazilian wood was designed by Ricardo Arrastia and produced by Arredamento Móveis Ltda., a company founded by Cesar Wasserfirer in 1960 that stood out for its concern in creating modular furniture with a broad market reach. Initially focused on office furniture, Argentinian architect Ricardo Arrastia joined the team to develop his residential collection and became one of its most important collaborators. The armchair is composed of solid Freijo wood with leather straps and loose cushions. Extremely comfortable, the piece has large armrests and angled backrests that fit the body perfectly. Arredamento signed one of the most popular lines of modern Brazilian furniture in the 1960s. This armchair illustrates one of Arredamento's advertisements from the period. This unrestored piece is in very good vintage condition. Wood restoration and new upholstery are included.
