About the Item
The Geo collection is enriched with a fun element: a completely rounded armchair created utilizing the namesake pouf as its seat. The metal rod structure supports the curved padded wooden back. The proportions are generous without being over-bearing. The 75 cm Geo poufs are designed to accommodate the structure of the backrest and can be easily attached to the base of the pouf even at a later time.
Graduated from ISIA institute in Florence, Paolo Grasselli deals with design and interior design. In addition to his latest collaboration with Saba, he has worked with Alessi, Arcade, BRF, CellularItalia, Felicerossi, Tonelli, Poggi, Halto, Horus, Olivetti, Viro, Modoluce, Viabizzuno and Ibebi. Since 2008 he has been the art director of the bio-fireplace company Horus and of the new bathroom accessories brand Mirus. His creations have been shown at Deutsches Architektur Museum in Frankfurt and at Felissimo design house in New York. He was an award winner at GranDesign International Award and at Nagaoka Technopolis International Design Competition. He is a professor of Design at Università del Progetto.
Structure: In wood covered in variable density polyurethane foam (35IP e 25IM) and clothed with resin 200gr/sqm coupled to velveteen.
Feet: In black PVC h 15mm for ground version. In 12mm wire drawn with glossy copper, satin brass or painted finished for raised version.
Feet: The back cushion is in polyurethane foam covered.
