Bag Chair in Velvet by Piet Hein Eek
Piet Hein Eek, born on April 29, 1967, in Purmerend, Netherlands, is a Dutch designer best known for his innovative approach to design and craftsmanship. Eek studied at the Academy for Industrial Design in Eindhoven, now known as Design Academy Eindhoven, where he graduated in 1990.
Piet Hein Eek launched the Bag Chair during Dutch Design Week in 2015. The original design is created with a very resistant American army fabric.
The designer later introduced a leather and velvet version of the Bag Chair. This elegant variant is made with soft velvet and storyfoam bubbles.
The refined nature of the material makes this chair only suitable for indoor.
