About the Item

The Model 3238 armchair is derived from the 'Spanish Chair', one of the masterpieces designed for Danish master Borge Mogensen. It is one of the famous masterpieces he manufactured after being inspired during a trip to Spain. Nowadays it is producted by Fredericia, but this is a rare vintage example. Like the Spanish chair, it is one of Mogensen's most famous and iconic saddle leather chairs. The leather fits the chair as it is used, and the straps can be adjusted and tightened as required. This is an old vintage piece and an old Fredericia sticker can be seen. The top-quality genuine leather, tanned with natural vegetable tannins, has a wonderful look and we recommend that you check the original as well as the vintage ageing.
