About the Item
Bustier’s elegant, curvy shape was inspired by the body-hugging corsets worn by ladies in the 19th century. Its rigid shell embraces soft feather cushions, and its shape means you can adapt it to many different covers and uses. The unique Saba Italia fabric collection offers an eclectic selection of Bustier covers for residential or contract furnishing. Also available with a swivel base, fully removable covers.
The designer Giuseppe Viganò is dedicated to the industrial design of furniture products and to the artistic direction of companies in the sector. He also provides graphic consulting for the production of catalogues, getting directly involved in the photography, page layout, communication and advertising pages. He designs trade fair layouts and permanent furniture shops or temporary areas for specific events and personally intervenes by indicating the choice of products and scenery design. In 2007 he started working with Saba Italia by endorsing several projects which embraced the whole company’s identity, he then became the artistic manager of the Company.
Structure: The seat module has a frame in wood upholstered with polyurethane foam with different heights (40IP and 35IP), with cotton covers bonded with 350 gr/sqm polyester fibre. The springing is provided by elastic belts with core in polypropylene. The back is in birch plywood curved as a saddle, upholstered with 40P polyurethane foam and with velveteen covers bonded with pressed polyester fibre (300 gr/sqm).
Feet: in black PVC, h 30 mm, with non-slip pad. Available with swivel base in wire drawn with glossy chrome finish.
Padding: filling of washed and sterilised goose down divided into compartments and with covers in white 100% cotton fabric
