About the Item
Pair of Louis XV style armchairs with Vienna straw back and seat dating from the 1700s.
Armchairs with elegant seating and curved lines, denoted by sinuous "S" shaped legs and arms.
Walnut wood frame with a lacquer finish and decorated with a floral theme.
The lacquer is worn denoting its age and use but also the beauty of this furniture (shabby chic effect).
Sound wood and straw although one chair has some marks on the seat straw on the side.
In general they are usable.
The cushion is a made addition that can be removed or replaced to preserve the straw over time.
