About the Item
The "Coronado" armchair, designed in the 1960s by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for B&B Italia, is an excellent example of mid-century Italian design. The extremely comfortable seat is upholstered in genuine pink leather, lending it a warm and luxurious feel. The leather is in good original condition, though it shows stains and signs of use. The seats are extremely comfortable thanks to the Polysoft padding, a cold-formed polyurethane foam, while the cushions are filled with Dacron fiber, ensuring softness and durability. The internal structure is made of special iron and steel profiles, providing the strength and durability typical of quality furniture. Details are provided on the label. The armchair's short legs, made of black-painted wood, add an elegant contrast to the leather color, maintaining a sober and minimalist style. The original label preserved on the seats provides valuable details regarding the model and materials, confirming the historical and artisanal importance of these creations.
