About the Item

A very theatrical large throne chair in a custom treatment. With an intricately carved frame having stylized shells and scrolls with the foot a raised snail’s head motif and the entire frame in a dazzling gold paint. The custom fabric a silk-like powder blue with raised damask type woven floral decoration. Very good condition. The throne chair measures 31” wide by 25” deep by 48.5” high. Seat height is 21”. Condition: The overall condition is very good with only minor acceptable age-related wear which does not impact the dramatic and striking presentation.
