Danish Green Armchair by Alfred Christensen for Slagelse Møbelværk, 1940s.
Early and very elegant Scandinavian MId-Century Modern armchair in stained beech and olive green wool upholstery. Designed by Alfred Christensen for Slagelse Møbelværk, Denmark in the 1940s.
Classic design with wonderfully curved armrests and tapering legs.
Very comfortable chair with eminent back support, even for tall people. Firm and supportive seat with original spring upholstery.
Also suitable as a desk chair.
Very good vintage condition. Reupholstred a few years ago and the frame has been checked by a carpenter. Finish of the wood has been refreshed. Ready for use.
