About the Item

A charming early 19th Century Swedish Rococo open armchair, Circa 1800. With an elegant pierced splat and shaped back framed by sweeping open arms. The painted frame retains a beautifully timeworn surface with soft, worn highlights and traces of earlier paint, raised on cabriole legs united by stretchers. The seat is upholstered in a neutral textile, ready to place within an interiors scheme. A light, sculptural chair with wonderful colour and patina.
