About the Item
The "Ekstrem" lounge chair is not merely a chair, but rather a stand-alone object.
It represents one of Norway’s first postmodern designs.
It is designed by Terje Ekstrøm in 1984 for Varier Stokke.
Its unexpected geometrics allow you to sit forward with feet on the ground, sideways with legs placed on the armrests or completely backwards with the front of the torso against the chair’s back.
A sitting experience that can only be described as out of the ordinary.
The chairs consist of a steel frame covered in soft foam and wool bouclé upholstery, they are in perfect condition.
