An attractive well-scaled Chippendale style open armchair, the shaped back transitioning to well-carved mahogany arms with acanthus leaf details, the serpentine seat embellished with a carved and gadrooned edge. The chair rests on cabriole legs with carved knees terminating in upturned feet. Upholstered in a pretty striped damask. Circa 1920.
