About the Item
A wonderful deconstructed low armchair with a deep seat and shapely wide back complemented with generous gently scrolling roll top arms. The front profile offers shapely sweeping sides and gently curved feet.
The armchair has been fully restored and stripped back to the solid oak frame for upholstery with a refurbished coil spring base, with hessian lining and calico coverings added and complemented with a duck feather seat cushion.
The armchair is exceptionally comfortable due to the large and deep seat, ready for reupholstery if required.
English, early 20th Century.
