Erik Buch for Ørum Møbler, set of four 'Captains' armchairs, in oak and fabric, Denmark, 1957.
Set of four sculpted dining chairs in solid oak. These chairs show the characteristics of the well-known model 50 by Erik Buck. Yet this model has a more refined and elegant design. The armrests are beautifully sculpted and have an organic look. All the cross-connections between the legs show elegant bent lines, which emphasizes the organic shapes of the armrests.
Please note that these chairs are in good, used condition. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece contains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
