These are one of the most impressive pair of armchairs I have ever seen. They have very rare, ornately hand carved Burr Walnut panels, sublimely sculpted legs which are finished with period castors, the leather is thick saddle hide, these chairs belong in a Museum they are that impressive
Condition wise they have been fully restored, the wood work has been washed back and French polished, the leather stripped back, hand dyed six times, antiqued, sealed, waxed down and polished, they maintain all the original patination whilst looking gallery ready
