Firstly, the good size lion head on the front rule comes with majestic manes and his eyes have a human-like quality to them. Secondly and most importantly are the amazing swan head and tail sculptures. Swan head sculptures in wood are extremely rare and to have found a chair with a pair of perfectly hand carved and mint condition swan heads (and necks) as armrests and with tails on either side of the backrest more than made our day.
