About the Item

Pair of Armchairs Designed by Finn Juhl for France and Søn, 1960s This is a superb pair of armchairs, model 196, in solid teak frames. They were designed by the famous Danish architect and designer Finn Juhl in 1961 and produced by the leading Danish publisher France Søn. They were made in Denmark and have stamps/medallions. They have been reupholstered. There are some minor traces of life, but they are in excellent condition overall. The teak frame has a unique sculpted armrest, nicely tapered legs, and curved lines in the seat profile. Dimensions: 64 x 58 x 82 cm Overall, these are very well-made, sturdy, and comfortable! This is a great opportunity to own a set of famous Danish armchairs designed by one of the masters—Finn Juhl! They are a true investment that will always hold their value.
