About the Item

Colorful custom needlepoint upholstery wraps the wide seat back of this French 18th century walnut os de mouton armchair. The fabric depicts curvaceous acanthus leaves, floral and avian imagery in vibrant shades of blue, green and gold with navy tape trim. The carved frame is made of walnut and done in the classic sheep bone form of graceful waves making for an exciting silhouette.
