About the Item

Add elegance to any room in the home with this French Louis XV armchair or fauteuil, beautifully carved in the 19th century and newly reupholstered in a neutral high end fabric that highlights the stunning details in the floral and acanthus leaves in the exquisite carving on the arms, apron and classic tapered legs, which end in escargot feet. This very comfortable fauteuil has a lovely curved back, a medium width seat over a four-side scalloped and carved apron. The curved comfortable armrests are decorated with carved acanthus leaves and floral motifs. #6228 H seat 18” x H arm 26”
