A beautiful French 19th century Empire st. flamed Mahogany desk armchair. The armchair is raised by stout elegantly scrolled legs with fine carved designs at the front and lightly curved square legs at the back. Each arm displays exquisite finely detailed carved dolphins and lovely curved designs leading to charming fish scales at the upholstered back and a capital like carved scrolled reserve flanked by gadroons above.
