Elegant 19th century French mahogany hand carved pair of fauteuils with newer lovely, subtle off-white upholstery and original gingham plaid on the backs! Beautiful hand carved acanthus leaf crests top center of each chair. Lovely reeded tapered legs and original brass tacking. These chairs are stunning in any room in the home; can be used in the living room, bedrooms or dining room, or as accent chairs. Found in the South of France!
