One of the project assumptions for this chair was the intense formal dialogue between different materials like wood and fabric. The designers came to a trace that fluidly and continuously interconnects these two materials.
A piece with strong sinuosity in its curves and with unusual twists in the ordinary chair manufacturing, Fronteira Chair requires at the same time state-of-the-art machinery and traditional carpenter´s expertise: a combination that collaborator Empório das Cadeiras owns and cultivates in its plant.
