This is a lovely armchair, it is super comfortable being a fully sprung model, what that means is not only is the seat platform coil sprung, so are the arms and back rest, this chair has the added feature of a coil sprung front edge, so instead of having a solid piece of wood sitting behind your calves, you have the same seat base springs, this is a lot more expensive to produce than the standard timber front panel, as its much more complicated to make stable, the end result is a super comfortable armchair
The leather has been fully restored to include being washed back, it’s then been hand dyed and antiqued six times, sealed, waxed and polished, this now looks better than new

Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
