About the Item
This is a stunning and extremely rare pair of armchairs by Gerard Guermonprez on their original 1970s velvet fabric.
They have a sort of box shape with low armrests and comfortable seats, curved back and chrome feet.
The armchairs are a classic 1970s French midcentury elegance that you would see in the interior projects of François and Betty Catroux.
If you decide to keep them as is they would definitely give you they 1970s vibes and make your space feel a 20th century essence.
If you decide to reupholster them to something simpler but elegant, either that be a fine beige or brown boucle or mohair then there would be an essence of modern elegance that would fit in any showroom residence.
