About the Item

Monolithic Ghost Chair designed by Cini Boeri for Fiam, 1987 Italy. Ghost was presented for the first time at the Salone del Mobile of Milan in 1987 and it immediately won a prize in a competition held by the magazine “Interni” inviting visitors to choose the most innovative product. A perfect synthesis of technological experimentation and formal research, the Ghost armchair, designed by Cini Boeri and Tomu Katayanagi, represents the desire to dematerialise the perception of function in favour of the user, who thus becomes the absolute protagonist of the room.
