About the Item

Splendid pair of wooden armchairs attributed to the great designer Gianfranco Frattini in the 70s, of fine Italian manufacture. The armchairs have a solid base made of solid dark wood, very attractive. The supporting feet have a conical shape in wood with a geometric game that echoes the hard geometric lines. These legs support a large seat made thanks to a soft rectangular cushion, lined in ice-colored leather, simply fascinating. The leather is original of the time, maniacally maintained. The backrest follows the lines of the armchair and rises softly while maintaining a classic rectangular shape. The whole armchair is lined in very light gray leather. The leather is punched to the structure by means of round brass studs, very beautiful and almost invisible. Under the seat we find a sort of containment grate to protect the seat made with original PIRELLI tires of the time. These armchairs are really very beautiful, suitable for both classic and more modern areas, given their versatility and color neutrality.
