About the Item

An extremely elegant mahogany armchair with delicate stylised inlay decoration and a cut-out heart detail. This chair was designed by George Walton around 1900. George Walton was a prominent architect and designer and is probably best known for his wonderful design for one of Mrs Cranston’s tearooms in Glasgow.
