Its extravagant form offers us a more imaginative interpretation of Godia projecting us into a “Boteriano” world.
With the sinuous and voluptuous shapes of the Godia armchair, Gianluca Cozzarolo transforms a seat into an immersive dance of emptiness and fullness, a reference to the forms of nature and aesthetic biomimicry that encloses and protect it from the outside world.
Godia was part of Metallica, an exhibition curated by Matteo Cibic that explores metal and its intrinsic qualities—ductility, malleability, reflection, and shine. Through the work of diverse and talented artists and designers, the show fosters new forms of dialogue and symbiosis, giving rise to unprecedented creative expressions.
A contemplation on material and its energy, translated into a contemporary aesthetic code that embraces both art and design.
