Wonderfully sculpted oak chairs featuring rich brown-reddish leather upholstery. Designed by Italian designer Guglielmo Pecorini, this piece masterfully combines round forms with angular shapes, creating a striking and harmonious composition.A standout detail is the inclusion of two back wheels, adding functionality while being an integral part of the design. The high backrest with wing-like sides adds an almost theatrical touch to the design. Both the back and seat are made of leather that is ending in straps and attached to the frame with brass nails. These chairs are a rarity to come by.

Guglielmo Pecorini
Guglielmo Pecorini, known for carved wood accessories shaped like fruit or nuts as well as furniture designs, was highly regarded in his day, and his small body of artisanal work turns up at major auctions such as Wright today. He is pictured at work in his small atelier in Italy at Work (1955) and his chairs are shown along with Craft productions by peers such as Carlo Mollino, Fontana Arte, Azucena, Cesare Lacca and casa e Giardino.
