Henry P. Glass swivel lounge chair with generous proportions and curved back that wraps around. Brass base with four legs supports the upholstered shell, with central swivel mechanism allowing full rotation. The low-slung profile and wide seat create an inviting lounging form. Upholstered in green wool with a textured weave. The saturated green brings bold color while the wool provides durability and natural texture. Brass legs display tarnish, wear, and darkening consistent with decades of use, giving the metalwork a layered, aged appearance that contrasts with the upholstery. Glass produced furniture during the 1960s-70s that prioritized comfort and organic curves over strict geometric forms.
