About the Item

Italian antique chair with high backrest and carved wooden armrests, 1800s. Italian high-back chair in carved wood with armrests, circa 1800. Throne or high-back chair or table-head armchair with armrests, with a rustic finish and a medieval flavor, with an entirely wooden structure. Sections with irregular shapes, with a backrest made up of three parallel strips with curvilinear workmanship. Dating back to around 1800. Good condition, restored, but provided with a metal strip on one of the hind legs, necessary to reconsolidate the entire structure. Measurements in cm 47x48x103h backrest, 45h seat Regal and imposing, this armchair or rather this throne, is truly a work of art. The decorations are all handmade and the wood was carved by more than one craftsman.
