Italian modern black leather and metal Spaghetti armchair by Giandomenico Belotti for Alias, 1980. Spaghetti model armchair with black painted metal structure, square seat and backrest in matt black ecological leather. Designed by Giandomenico Belotti and produced by Alias Design in 1980s Label not present. Good general condition, some marks and stains on the leather and a missing spring. Measurements in cm 68.5x65x70h 44h seat, 60h armrest. Beautiful, very particular armchair which is part of the Spaghetti series by Giandomenico Belotti for Alias Italia, which includes various models including armchairs, chairs with and without armrests and poufs, also in different materials, such as this one which is in leather. This series has now become famous in Italian design and iconic throughout the world. In the first model the seat and backrest are made with elongated plastic threads, also called scooby, which resemble real spaghetti. Very comfortable, enveloping, in our shop you can also find other models, both chairs, armchairs and poufs.
