This pair of late eighteenth century French Louis XVI period armchairs features its original paint worn to a beautiful patina that only comes with age. This classic pair features medallion backs, fluted arms with scrolled armrests, and tapered legs of cabled fluting. Louis XVI rosettes adorn the die joints. c. 1800.
