This late nineteenth century hand carved French walnut Louis XIV style armchair features hand carved armrests with scrolling acanthus leaves. The seat rests on spooled legs joined by an H-stretcher that provides stability. Upholstered in red velvet and finished with nail head trim, this piece is sure to lend a sense of history to any space, circa 1880.
