About the Item
Fabulous vintage neoclassic revival side chair with a black painted frame, gilt wing accents and off-white upholstery fabric. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. The frame has been freshly painted black and the upholstery has been professionally cleaned. There is still a very slight stain on the seat and still little dings and divots under the new paint finish to retain its vintage look. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections, circa, late 20th century.
This is a chair fit for a Roman God or Goddess of course!! It is comprised of a sleigh style wood frame with a black painted finish and wonderful gilded carved wing details. It is wearing a lovely off white textured striped fabric on the seat and upholstered back and a semi attached back cushion with button detail on the front of the chair. It is Neoclassic Revival in style with a fabulous Roman, Greek, and Egyptian flair and its comfort is sure to make you feel like Royalty!! It will be phenomenal in the corner of your bedroom or dressing area, in the living room across from your sofa, or in the entry way for a fashionable spot to remove your shoes! This chair is exactly what the King’s (or Queens) designer ordered! Don’t hesitate to make it Yours!!!

It is comprised of antiqued or cerused white wood and it wears its original white brocade fabric. It has deep button and tuck detail on the seat cushion and seat back and all the edges are gimped… its stunning!!
