We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely original Mid-Century Modern circa 1960s brown leather armchair and ottoman set with Chesterfield floating buttons A very good looking well made and dare I say cool pair. As with all Danish furniture from this era, this will be pretty much the most comfortable armchair you’ve ever sat in. The foam padding is the original and nicely aged, the leather is thick and very smooth, its free from any imprecations Condition wise we have cleaned waxed and polished the suite from top to bottom, the leather and frame has a nice original period patination, there is one button missing from the stool, otherwise it is exactly as you would like to find it Armchair dimensions Height 83cm Width 71cm Depth 91cm Seat height 40.5cm Ottoman dimensions: Height 36.5cm Width 57cm Depth 43cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
